July Portland SharePoint User Group meeting–InfoPath
The July Portland SharePoint User Group meeting will be held on Wednesday July 18th, 2012. This month Scott Harwood from NW Natural will give us an introduction to InfoPath 2010.
Topic: Intro to InfoPath 2010
This session will introduce a really cool tool in the Microsoft Office suite, InfoPath 2010, provide guidance on when and how to use it, and discuss integration options with SharePoint 2010. We will cover the basics: How to create a form, different uses for InfoPath forms, and deploying forms for others to use. We will also talk through a case study that brings up some more complex topics: secondary data sources, administrator approved forms, and why would anyone write code behind an InfoPath form (because you can do cool stuff).

We’ve set up a survey that allows you to change your response so if you initially plan on attending but something comes up you can re-open the survey and let us know. If you plan to attend please be sure to complete the survey by Monday, July 16th at noon since we have to place the lunch order that afternoon. You can find the survey at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/LWGTYXY. Please be sure to take a minute to fill out the survey so we can have an accurate lunch count. What:July Portland SPUG MeetingWhen:Wednesday July 18th, 2012 11:30am – 1:00pmWhere:Microsoft Portland Office 1414 NW Northrup St.
